  4. Cambodia if he is speaking in English, Cambodge in French and
  5. Kampuchea in Khmer (WORLD, June 19). There is nothing strange
  6. in that. How do Poles refer to the U.S.? Stany Zjednoczone, of
  7. course. Italians say Stati Uniti, and if Poles mention Italy,
  8. it is Wlochy. Finns don't know they live in Finland; they think
  9. they're in Suomi. And Hungarians are positive that Budapest is
  10. in Magyarorszag. The problem lies with Americans who don't know
  11. what foreign languages are all about.
